The Boogie North 2001 took place on: July 6, 7, 8, 2001
The Boogie stared as a party in 1992 and in 2001 has evolved into a way of life. The Boogie preserves one of the vanishing music genres "the jam session". Musicians, family, and friends gather from all over the country, and from as far away as London, England and New Zealand. We play music for three full days. The Boogie has rock, country, blues, latino, folk, funk, raggae, and classical. The Boogie embraces family, community, women, environment, children, and of course widely diverse musical styles. The Boogie features the sweat lodge, children's boogie theatre, camping, soccer, classical hour, hiking, biking, the women's clothes swap and fashion show and the Sunday Morning Pancake Breakfest Jam. We will be celebrating 10 years, come this July.
There is so much more to tell, but for now this will just have to do.
